POA was started in 1984 by founder Bruce "Mac" McClellan, CPO who himself is a lower limb patient. During his career he has served as President of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and has been a recipient of the Academy’s Titus-Ferguson Award for lifetime achievement.
Since its founding, POA has helped thousands of patients with diverse and complex physical challenges, and become nationally recognized in the prosthetics and orthotics field.
With state-of-the-art clinicial and labratory facilities, our team designs and fits custom devices for each patient using cutting edge technologies like the High Fidelity (HiFi) and Aqua Casting Systems, adjustable sockets, 3D Printing, and more.

Its never just a procedural visit at poa. It's more like catching up with family and friends. You won't find the level of care any where else.
POA is incredible! Not only have they taken great care of my husband and sons needs, but also they are lovely to speak with at every appointment. They treat you like family. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient. I highly recommend using POA.
My daughter has been a patient of POA for a few years and received two pairs of AFOs from them. Both experiences exceeded our expectations in terms of quality equipment and positive interactions with the wonderful staff. Their new office is beautiful and is well equipped for patient's needs. I would strongly recommend POA with no reservations.
This is a family. I have been seeing Ben for 5 years regarding a leg brace that I need to walk. My first brace went up my entire leg and now it's just below my knee. They get just as excited as I do whenever we reach these milestones. If you're looking for a family atmosphere, this is it.
This place is amazing!!! I have been working with Matt for about 2 years now. I recently received my 2nd leg. 3 days later, I was walking up and down Fremont Street in Las Vegas. I also walked up and across the Hoover Dam! Thank You Matt. You have made a huge difference in my life!
I received my new leg today and the whole process was incredibly easy. We happened to be in town when I got the call that it was ready to fit and take home, and they were able to work me in while I was in town. They helped decorate my leg exactly how I wanted it and made sure I had all the supplies I needed before I left. Great customer service and support. Highly recommend!
The staff is great at POA: helpful, courteous and like family. Matthew explained how the process works allowing me to walk. I was ready and excited to begin. That was two years ago. Thanks to the entire staff. He did a great job with my new leg. I would recommend and refer POA to anyone that's looking to get their prosthesis done.
