Our facilities:

Patients referred to Prosthetic-Orthotic Associates (POA) are seen in spacious, professional facilities. We take pride in our offices and make every effort to see that our patients are comfortable and treated in a dignified manner while under our care. We employ the most up-to-date equipment and technologies in our offices and laboratories. All custom made devices are designed and fabricated in our own laboratories utilizing our own technical staff. We do not send our work out to be done by someone else, but rather provide total care through our own “in-house” facilities. In this way, we can control the specifications and quality of all of our devices while providing faster turn-around time for our patients.

Our philosophy:

The practitioners and staff at POA are dedicated to providing the ultimate in care and rehabilitation to those patients whom we serve. Our interest in staying abreast of current developments and continuing education is a result of the desire to provide those who need prosthetic or orthotic intervention with the highest level of care possible on a par with any provided across the country. The provision of artificial limbs and braces is not a sideline for us, but rather the entire basis for our practice. We approach the simplest foot orthosis or the most sophisticated myoelectric upper limb system with the same dedication to fit, function, and comfort. We realize that each patient’s problem is unique on both the personal and physical level and strive to compliment the rest of the medical teams’ efforts through our areas of expertise.
